Celebrating Scuderia Ferrari
Named to honor the 90th anniversary of the Scuderia Ferrari racing division, the SF90 Stradale arrived in 2019 as a technological tour de force. It bridged the performance gap between road-going supercars and hypercar flagships like LaFerrari by introducing a plug-in hybrid system to a series-production mid-engine Ferrari for the first time. Its sleek, low-slung aerodynamic silhouette generates up to 390 kg of downforce at 250 km/h, utilizing a Gurney flap and active rear gurney system.
The aggressive styling features air intakes integrated into the headlights and a cockpit pushed forward to optimize high-speed aerodynamic stability.

Quad-Powered Performance
At the core of the SF90 is an evolution of Ferrari’s award-winning twin-turbo V8 engine, bored out to 4.0 liters and producing 769 horsepower on its own. Working in tandem are three electric motors—two on the front axle enabling torque vectoring and all-wheel drive, and one sandwiched between the engine and transmission. Total system output reaches an earth-shattering 986 horsepower.
- Engine: 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8 + 3 Electric Motors
- Drivetrain: Electric front axle providing torque vectoring and AWD
- Transmission: 8-speed dual-clutch automatic derived from F1 experience
Fun Fact: The SF90 has no traditional mechanical reverse gear; the car reverses exclusively using its front electric motors, saving weight and freeing up valuable space.
Clinical Speed
On the track, the SF90 Stradale is shockingly fast. The electric motors eliminate any turbo lag, filling torque gaps instantly and launching the car out of corners with blistering all-wheel-drive traction. The steering is hyper-responsive, and the carbon-ceramic brakes bite hard.
Inside, the cabin features a fully digital 16-inch curved display and touch-capacitive controls on the steering wheel, emphasizing a futuristic, cockpit-like environment.
“The SF90 Stradale brings hypercar-slaying performance to a mainstream Ferrari lineup with terrifyingly effortless speed.”
